outsource Financial launches new asset finance mentoring program

7 minute read

The aggregation group has launched a new mentoring program designed to help brokers train up in asset and equipment finance.

outsource Financial has launched a new asset finance mentoring program designed to equip brokers with the confidence to diversify their offering into asset finance.

Developed with asset finance education partners, the curriculum offers brokers a comprehensive foundation in both policy and product knowledge, helping them tap into high-potential market niches.

Led by outsource Financial’s national training and education manager, Sarah Chan, the five-part mentoring series guides brokers through the following modules:

  • Introduction to asset finance

  • The role of a finance broker

  • Commercial asset finance

  • Consumer asset finance

  • Live scenarios workshop

According to the aggregator, the program was launched following strong demand from its recent five-state asset finance events in NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia and delivered in strategic alignment with outsource Financial’s asset finance lender days.

The newly launched initiative has so far seen 145 brokers complete the program, underlining growing interest in asset finance and broker diversification across the country.

The aggregator said the new mentoring program reflects the company’s broader commitment to helping brokers meet evolving client needs while future-proofing their service offerings. It comes as it also builds its SME lender panel.

Madeleine Dart, national brand manager, said: “We were thrilled to see such a strong national turnout – especially across the smaller states.

“The uptake across mentoring and events has highlighted a fierce appetite in this space amongst our broker base.”

“Diversification is nothing new, yet there was real value in the reiteration of how expanding your service offering can add such strength and resilience to brokers’ businesses,” Dart continued, noting that the events have seen asset finance brokers and specialists provide “insightful, practical and seasoned answers; sharing real-world strategies brokers could implement in their own business”.
