With over two decades in Australia’s financial services industry, my career has been driven by perspective and purpose. Motherhood challenged me to rethink traditional definitions of success and ultimately led me to build a business on my own terms with trusted friends and co-founders. One that focused on partnership and meaningful impact for both our clients and our team.
How did you start down this career path?
My career evolved quite organically. I spent more than two decades building experience across financial services and along the way I became very clear about the kind of impact I wanted to make. Each role shaped me but it was motherhood that ultimately sharpened my purpose and pushed me to rethink what success could look like.
I watched many incredibly capable women, friends and colleagues slow down or step back after having children, often because the corporate system simply isn’t built to really back working mums. I knew I had more to give and I wanted to build something on my own terms. With a one-year-old and a five-year-old, I took a leap of faith and channelled my two decades of experience into creating something tangible. It was equal parts terrifying and empowering but it felt necessary.
What inspires you in your role/industry? Why?

What inspires me is the ability to create impact at scale both commercially and socially. Mortgage brokers drive more than 75% of new residential lending in Australia and yet many lack access to skilled, reliable credit support. Strengthening that backbone of the industry is incredibly motivating. At the same time we’re creating meaningful careers for our team members, offering stability, growth, and real opportunity.
What's your approach to customer service that separates you from the rest?
I believe in partnership not transactions. We take the time to understand how our clients operate and what pressures they face and the ultimate - what success actually looks like in their business. We invest heavily in training, quality control and communication so our staff feel like a genuine extension of our clients’ teams. Accountability and trust are non-negotiables and we hold ourselves to the same standards we expect from our clients.
How do you innovate and stay ahead of industry trends?
Innovation starts with understanding the emerging needs. My background across credit, operations, product and governance allows me to spot inefficiencies early. We continuously evolve our training to reflect policy changes, lender expectations, and broker workflows. We also focus on capability uplift by training our team to think critically and proactively support decision-making rather than simply process tasks. Staying ahead isn’t about chasing trends; it’s about building adaptable, highly skilled teams that can move with the industry.
What is the toughest challenge you've faced in your role? How did you overcome it?
One of the toughest challenges for me when we first started was taking the leap to build something new while navigating being a mother of two very young children. Walking away from the certainty of a senior corporate career into entrepreneurship required resilience and conviction. I overcame it by backing it with my experience, surrounding myself with strong business partners and staying connected to our purpose. Every challenge since, whether operational or cultural has been approached with transparency and a long-term mindset.
What are some of your goals for the next 5 years?
Over the next five years, my goal is to continue raising the bar for offshore credit support in Australia and establish Stellar Staffing as the benchmark for quality and trust. I want to expand our impact by creating more skilled roles, developing future leaders within our teams by providing pathways for long-term career growth all the while helping our clients scale to new heights. Personally, I aim to keep proving that it’s possible to build a successful, purpose-driven business without compromising on values, family or integrity.
