Just one month after its launch, My Local Broker’s principal Jaci Smith said she is already inundated with requests from brokers looking to take part in the service.

My Local Broker offers customers the opportunity to find a broker from their local community by reviewing hundreds of profiles that contain photos, videos, live twitter feeds and testimonials.

According to Ms Smith, the program has already received applications from more than 400 brokers that are interested in joining the program.

“My Local Broker has revolutionised the way brokers will ask for referrals from now on, with a broker’s unique profile introducing customers to them and their brand,” she said.

“We believe any broker that signs up to the platform will exponentially reach more audience than ever before by linking their business and social media interactions.”

“Every broker that signs up on the platform has Facebook integration. Brokers are encouraged to ask every customer to visit their My Local Broker profile and to hit “like” and to leave a comment; the “like” and comment remains on their My Local Broker profile, and sends a direct link to their customer’s personal Facebook page.

“So if a broker has 200 friends on Facebook and someone leaves a comment on their My Local Broker Profile, all 200 friends will be able to see it as it will appear on their newsfeed.”
