Jobs growth predicated for white collar sector

Over 60 per cent of white collar employers are expecting to grow staff numbers over the next 12 months, recruitment firm Michael Page International revealed today.

Increased spending on infrastructure will be responsible for the increase in demand from the professional services area – especially in the mining, resources, engineering and constructions sectors.

Pressure stemming from the global market crisis is expected to slow demand in the financial services sector however.
