ABA finalists revealed - June 2012

Of the hundreds of nominations, the field has now been narrowed down to the handful of leading brokers, brokerages, and aggregation groups across 14 award categories, including the coveted Broker of Year and Major Brokerage of the Year awards.

The Australian Broking Awards, partnered by the Commonwealth Bank, are the only awards that exclusively recognise the success and achievements of the third party distribution channel.

Jim Hall, publisher of The Adviser said the quality of submissions for the 2012 Australian Broking Awards has highlighted an industry focused on professionalism and a passion for development.

"The quality of submissions that we have received this year has been exceptional. Thinning down the field down to just four or five finalists per category was remarkably difficult," he said.

“Despite the relatively weak performance of most property markets, the leading brokers and brokerage groups continue to prosper and those who have been listed as finalists should be very proud of their achievements.”

Finalists will now be assessed by an independent judging panel of respected professionals, who will determine winners based on an overall score of business metrics and submissions.

The winners of the 2012 Australian Broking Awards will be revealed at a business luncheon at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney on July 27.
