Mortgage Choice has established a fund to help provide financial support to the Queensland and Northern NSW flood victims.

The brokerage is currently collecting donations from its staff and franchise network to send off as a collective payment to the Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal.

The company’s head office kicked off the donation appeal, contributing $5,000.

In addition, Mortgage Choice spokesperson Kristy Sheppard said the company’s Queensland state manager was currently co-ordinating teams of network members and staff to go into the damaged areas and help with the cleanup effort.

“Now that authorities have given the green light, a large team of volunteers is venturing out today,” Ms Sheppard said.
