A marketplace neo-lender has joined the panel of a recently rebranded asset finance services partner.

Asset finance services partner Platform Finance has welcomed a marketplace neo-lender to its consumer lending panel.

ASX-listed lender Wisr (formerly known as DirectMoney) has joined one of Australia’s largest finance broker communities.

Asset finance services partner Platform Finance, part of the Consolidated Operations Group, has signed Wisr to its consumer lending panel so that its brokers can offer the marketplace lender’s unsecured personal loans (of up to $50,000 and with maturities of up to five years) to their clients.

Peter Beaumont, head of growth at Wisr, said: “We are extremely pleased to be working with Platform Finance. We aim to help their brokers create new business streams while providing a smarter, fairer, wiser deal for their customers.”

The lender’s growth is continuing, with a 49 per cent increase in the value of new loans written in 1QFY19 compared to the previous quarter.

The lender also recently joined the panel of aggregation company Connective.
