For the second consecutive year, RAMS has been named the industry’s non-bank lender of the year in Money Magazine’s Australian Consumer Finance Awards.
RAMS chief executive Melos Sulicich said the win showed the lender had successfully maintained its competitive position in the industry, despite facing significant obstacles during the GFC.
“Our consistent performance in delivering great value interest rates, a wide range of products and the ability to tailor home loans to meet customer’s needs has proven to be a winning package for everyday Australians,” Mr Sulicich said.
In the last three months, RAMS has experienced a 50 per cent increase in the number of fixed and split interest rate home loans from customers seeking to take advantage of low fixed rates.
“Shopping around for a more comfortable deal is becoming more popular as people are concerned about the potential for further interest rate increases,” he said.
