New AI solution aims to help empower brokers

A new artificial intelligence–led solution that caters to brokers has been launched to unify fact find, referrals, live chat and calculators in one package.

Developed by Australian fintech Epictenet and currently being utilised by WA-based brokerage Diversifi, the Broker Empowerment Solution aims to streamline the referral and lead management processes.

Ritesh Srivastava, founder and CEO of Epictenet, explained: “Our aim, when we first started thinking of the Broker Solution, was to do exactly that: empower brokers to do more with less dependency on a third party through the entire brokerage process.

“Brokers have seldom had access to industry-leading technology and Epictenet is trying to change that.”

According to the fintech, the broker segment was needing a “much-needed upgrade to the current ageing processes”.

As such, the Broker Empowerment Solution brings together fact find, referrals, live chat and serviceability calculators in a customisable package and can be operated through both mobile and desktop devices.

The “Joey” chatbot can complete a fact-find form through a chat (as well as traditional web form), thus reducing delays in waiting for information.

The solution also includes a mobile app that can be used for referring, managing and communicating with leads and has a “live chat with broker” feature that gives brokers the ability to contact users directly.

Rose De Rossi, the director of WA-based brokerage Diversifi, was an early adopter of the mobile app and has now rolled out the full Broker Empowerment Solution.

“We’ve been using the app this year and we have now added AI-based chatbot Joey, including [the] live chat feature,” Ms De Rossi said.

“What Epictenet is doing in the broker space is revolutionary, and we are excited about this partnership.”
