Vow names new state manager

by Reporter8 minute read

Vow Financial has poached a BDM from a rival aggregator to be its new state manager for Queensland.

David Stewart will step into the role with more than 25 years’ experience in the finance industry, having most recently worked as a senior business development manager for PLAN Australia’s Queensland operations.

Vow general manager Leighton King said Mr Stewart brings a great deal of experience to the aggregator and is committed to helping each broker drive business growth in their communities.

“Beyond working in financial services for many years, he ran his own mortgage broking business which helps him understand the needs and pressures our brokers face every day,” Mr King said.

“Queensland is a big focus area for Vow this year, with room for greater penetration in the area. Working closely with David, we believe we can build up our Queensland network and continue to provide the current brokers the best support in the market.”

Mr Stewart said he joined Vow because he wanted to be part of a business that truly has the broker's interests at heart, and he wanted to provide a more personal level of support.

“Vow is genuinely committed to helping their broker partners grow successful businesses. I am an ex-broker myself so I understand the importance of having a supportive aggregator,” Mr Stewart said.

“I believe I personally can provide the support, knowledge and expertise required to help brokers build strong businesses, including working with them on improved business processes, lead generation and maintaining customer satisfaction.”
