Diversification in lead generation essential: brokerage

While it is important to have a variety of lead generation tactics in place, not all will yield results, a top performing brokerage has claimed.

Speaking to The Adviser, Astute Dee Why’s Sam Ayliffe and Ben White said while it is important to have a good mix of lead generation techniques, it is also important to know that not every tactic will deliver business opportunities.

“If you want to grow your business, you need to have different lead generation methods,” Mr White said. “You need a range. You need to expand your network – talk to people who can provide you with leads and then spend time working on your advocates. Treat them well and thank them regularly.”

Mr White’s business partner, Sam Ayliffe, agreed and said it is important for all brokerages to employ a range of techniques to ensure the business brand is present and growing in the local community.

“We sponsor local sporting teams and have a strong Facebook presence. While it is hard to measure the success rates of these techniques, they are important. Your name needs to be out there to be seen. The more it is out there, the more business you will generate,” he said.
