Bank set to launch broker-centric videos

One of Australia’s non-major lenders is gearing up to launch new broker-centric videos that will advise on best lead generation practices.

Speaking to The Adviser, Citibank’s head of broker distribution, Aaron Milburn, said the lender wanted to add value to broker businesses across Australia and believes videos highlighting the tried and tested lead generation techniques of Australia’s best brokers will do just that.

“At Citibank, we can provide our brokers with good products that are competitively priced. We can also provide ongoing business support through our team of BDMs,” he said.

“Of course, that said, we aren’t brokers, so while we can’t advise the industry on best ways to build a business, we can bring together some of the nation’s best to do it on our behalf.

“We want these videos to bring together some of the nation’s great brokers and allow them the format to share some of their strategic business ideas and initiatives.”

Mr Milburn said Citibank continues to recognise how important the third party distribution channel is and wanted to highlight the group's ongoing commitment to brokers.

The first Citibank sponsored webisode, which will focus on best lead generation practices and techniques, will air in August.
