by Staff Reporter11 minute read

Top performing brokers will be recognised for the quality as well as the quantity of business that they write in the Elite Business Writers ranking, to be published in the November issue of Mortgage Business.

The Elite Business Writers ranking will identify Australia’s top business writers taking into account the growing shift towards a diversified offering and the drive towards greater efficiency and quality.

CBA has announced that it will partner Mortgage Business in this ground breaking report.

According to Kathy Cummings, executive general manager of third-party banking, the Mortgage Business initiative is closely aligned with the bank’s vision to partner with brokers who deliver quality business.

“Brokers who deliver on the customer’s total financial needs and demonstrate efficiency contribute to the overall profitability and hence sustainability of the mortgage broking industry,” she said.

Mortgage Business publisher Alex Whitlock believes that recognition of the best brokers in the business will have significant value to those brokers that achieve Elite Business Writer status.

“Acknowledgement by the leading industry magazine and Australia’s biggest mortgage lender by volume for the quality of their broking operation will carry a lot of weight.

“Those who make the final ranking can rightfully claim to be Australia’s best business writers. This will have immense value in terms of marketing opportunities to both prospective borrowers and the highest calibre referral partners.”

Brokers will be assessed on the spectrum of business they write as well as the quality that they deliver.

With residential lending at the core, insurance products, commercial loans, leasing, business and personal finance are among the other products that will be included in the overall business written.

Brokers must submit a completed application before October 2 to be considered for the ranking. To complete your submission please click here, or for more information call 02 9922 3300.
