Mr Kirkpatrick, who previously headed the mortgage broking business for the St.George Banking Group brands, will now be responsible for productivity and lending support provided to Vow Financial's network of more than 1,000 brokers.

Yellow Brick Road's executive chairman, Mark Bouris, commented: “Clive Kirkpatrick will drive our FY17 focus on enhancing productivity and profitability, specifically focusing on Vow Financial, one of the largest mortgage aggregators in the nation.

“Mr Kirkpatrick's appointment as general manager, lending (Vow Financial) completed the new-look leadership team managing network productivity across both lending and wealth management divisions.”

Speaking of his appointment, Mr Kirkpatrick said: “I'm exciting about joining one of Australia's fastest-growing aggregation businesses and look forward to working with the team to take the business forward.

Customers are increasingly choosing mortgage brokers for advice and it is great to be part of this growing profession.”

Prior to his role at St.George Banking Group, Mr Kirkpatrick was head of franchising at Rams Home Loans and worked in the financial planning division of Bankwest.

His appointment is the latest in a series, following the recruitment of Andrew Rasby as general manager, lending, for the Yellow Brick Road branch network and Adam Youkhana as general manager, wealth, across both Yellow Brick Road and Vow Financial. Earlier this month it was also announced that Tim Brown, CEO of lending at Yellow Brick Road will step down at the end of this year.
