The number of owner-occupied dwellings financed by non-banks increased by 1.8 per cent in June, ABS data showed yesterday.
The slight increase was a marked improvement from a decrease of 17.6 per cent in May.
However the number of owner occupied dwellings financed by the banks fell 4.6 per cent in June compared with May. This followed a decrease of 5.1 per cent in May.
