In a bid to claw market share away from the majors, ING DIRECT has announced it will refund the ATM owner fees when its home loan customers use their Orange Everyday transaction account to withdraw cash at any ATM across Australia.

“We know Australians loathe paying ATM fees to conduct a simple, everyday transaction so we’re providing further value to our home loan customers by rebating these completely,” ING DIRECT’s executive director of delivery Lisa Claes said.

ING DIRECT home loan customers with an Orange Everyday account will not pay an ATM fee to withdraw cash or check their balance at any ATM in Australia. This follows a run of recent initiatives aimed at improving the home loan proposition to Australian customers and offers further incentive to do their banking with ING DIRECT.
