The Arca Credit Summit brings together professionals in credit risk, data tech and compliance – all in the glorious surrounds of Queensland’s Gold Coast.

This is the event to hear from the foremost experts about cutting edge developments, regulatory challenges and different industry practices. 2024’s theme Shaping Tomorrow Together draws together a rich agenda including international speakers, regulators and EDR schemes, industry experts drawn from credit reporting bodies and a range of credit providers, as well as a range of experts across areas such as the Australian economy, hardship, customer insights, and even time management.

Attendees will gain new insights, participate in engaging discussions, and network with peers to shape the future of the industry.

Are these questions on your mind?

  • Do you wonder what climate change is going to do to credit risk models into the future?
  • Are you tackling the recent ASIC Hardship Report and need some fresh perspectives?
  • Is the thought of the next data fraud incident interrupting your sleep at night?

Look no further than the Arca Credit Summit to help answer these questions, and so much more.

Our recent agenda announcements include:

  • Jackie Keogh, who is chairing the UK working group creating a new credit industry governance body. Jackie will reflect on her experience of the UK credit market, and the challenges in developing an effective governance model
  • The new Privacy Commissioner Carly Kind. As a human rights lawyer and leading authority on the intersection of technology policy and human rights, she has advised industry, government and non-profit organisations on digital rights, artificial intelligence, privacy and data protection, and corporate accountability in the technology sphere. Prior to commencing as Privacy Commissioner Carly had extensive international experience, including most recently at the Ada Lovelace Institute in the United Kingdom
  • AFCA lead ombudsman Natalie Cameron and executive general manager (jurisdiction) Michelle Kumarich. Natalie and Michelle are highly experienced in dispute resolution and provide attendees a chance to try their luck as AFCA decision-makers, gaining practical insights into how AFCA decision-makers do their jobs
  • Time management expert and author Kate Christie. Kate will lead an interactive workshop examining what it means to be a leader for the workforce of tomorrow, with some practical strategies to take back to teams.

Early Bird Tickets are limited and this pricing is only available until June 30!
