by Staff Reporter7 minute read

BankSA has announced the appointment of Nick Reade as its new chief executive.

Currently general manager, small business banking, and general manager, corporate and commercial banking for South Australia with ANZ Bank, Mr Reade has nearly 25 years’ experience in financial services.

Commenting on the appointment, George Frazis, chief executive of St George Banking Group said, “I am very pleased to welcome Nick to BankSA. He has broad financial services experience and a strong record of achievement. I am confident his drive, energy and passion will be a great asset to BankSA, its employees and customers.”

The appointment follows Jane Kittel’s move to general manager of customer experience and customer contact centres across Westpac Group’s Australian Financial Services division.

Mr Frazis thanked Ms Kittel for her significant contribution in leading BankSA over the past three years.

“Jane has done a wonderful job at BankSA and it has been her focus on customer service that has rightly seen her given the responsibility of looking after the customers across Australian Financial Services including those who use our award-winning contact centres,” said Mr Frazis.

Ms Kittel recently announced a seven per cent improvement in BankSA’s annual net profit to $200 million for the year ending 30 September 2013.
