ME Bank has thrown its support behind the 2014 Better Business Summit, highlighting the importance of ongoing development within the industry.

ME Bank’s national manager brokers Stewart Saunders said it is important for the industry to come together and share ideas to support brokers in growing their businesses.

“The Better Business Summit, which is being held across five states, will provide brokers with greater access to business building strategies, as well as invaluable networking opportunities,” Mr Saunders said.

The Better Business Awards, which form part of the summit, are a great initiative to recognise the depth and performance of the industry across many categories, according to Mr Saunders.

“The national awards sometimes seem unattainable for many brokers and the introduction of the state-based awards program is an important way of providing a milestone that is achievable for brokers, recognising their excellence at a state level and hopefully driving them on to challenge for the top awards at a national level,” he said.

“There are so many successful people and businesses in our industry that any opportunity to recognise this success and share their stories is beneficial.”

Brokers have jumped at the chance to nominate for the Better Business Awards, with entries coming in from across the country.
