Real estate giant recruiting experienced brokers

Since its rebranding to Our Broker last year, Raine & Horne’s financial services subsidiary has been attracting professionals with solid real estate experience.

Our Broker, the mortgage broker subsidiary of Raine & Horne, has been onboarding brokers with real estate experience, which Dawn Inanli, general manager of financial services, attributes to the business’s recent growth.

“We’re starting to attract a lot of brokers who understand the real estate transaction process and this is helping us grow our brand. It’s resonating with a lot of the real estate offices we’re working with,” Ms Inanli said.

“All our brokers have a minimum of two years’ experience. They have all worked within the real estate industry, they know how to work and liaise with real estate agents as well as customers seeking the best home loan and interest rate.”

For example, Craig Betalli, a mortgage broker with 10 years of experience, has joined the Sydney office. He will be looking after the eastern suburbs, St George, Sutherland and Illawarra regions.

“I joined Our Broker because of the growth potential,” Mr Betalli said.

“I believe that being a part of the growing Our Broker network is going to offer my team significant new opportunities.

“We look forward to creating strong links with the Raine & Horne real estate offices."

Also joining Our Broker in Sydney is Andrew De Marco, who has 15 years’ experience and has worked as an independent mortgage broker with real estate offices in Sydney, as well as with Bankwest and National Australia Bank.

Mr De Marco will be based in Concord, looking after the inner west.

“In the inner west, I’m working with owner-occupiers and investors, and doing plenty of refinancing,” Mr De Marco said.

“People are always looking for a better deal, regardless of the lending market conditions.”
