by Reporter5 minute read

Mortgage brokers accredited with one of Australia’s largest national mortgage aggregation networks will be given access to Virgin Money home loans from early November, following the signing of a new partnership.

The deal between Connective and Virgin Money will enable accredited Connective brokers to offer clients the new Reward Me Home Loans offering, which gives customers Velocity Frequent Flyer Points on settlement, each month and on regular anniversaries, along with offers on related Virgin Money products and other Virgin businesses in Australia.

For example, customers can earn 10,000 Velocity Points for every $100,000 borrowed at settlement. This is in addition to Virgin Money's standard offering of 1,000 points per month for each loan split, plus 30,000 bonus points every three years.

Connective is the latest company to partner with Virgin Money, following on from Virgin’s partnerships with leading aggregators PLAN and FAST and its announcement that it intends to distribute widely through the third-party channel.

Announcing the new distribution partnership, Johnny Lockwood, Virgin Money's general manager, lending, cards and deposits, said: Delivering a rewarding proposition to our customers and great customer service is front and centre in our choice of strategic partners.

Connective's commitment to providing quality service and delivering customers the best lending experience is closely aligned with ours. We're excited to kick off this new partnership with Connective.

Glenn Lees, CEO of Connective, added that the company was “delighted” to welcome Virgin Money to the lending panel, as the aggregator had been “really impressed with Virgin Money's innovative and collaborative approach, and their commitment to providing [Connective] members and their customers with a strongly differentiated product offering”.

“It's great that our members will now be able to harness the power of the incredibly strong Virgin brand,” he said.
