Gold Coast-based broker Kirsty Best set up her brokerage, Living Home Loans, with her husband Andrew Best after a teaching career. Kirsty outlines how she went from teacher, to pupil, to mentor in this episode of Elite Broker.
Being a new-to-industry broker can be daunting, especially if you've decided to set up your own brokerage rather than join a big brokerage brand. But for teacher-turned-broker Kirsty Best, setting up an independent brokerage was eased by the fact that she co-founded her brokerage with her broker husband, Andrew.
After more than four years of running the Coolangatta-based brokerage Living Home Loans, broker and director Kirsty Best is now becoming a teacher once again, mentoring a new broker and managing a team of staff.
In this episode of Elite Broker, Kirsty joins host Annie Kane to discuss how she navigated a new industry, how she overcame the challenges of setting up a new brokerage, and her top tips for those entering the industry for the first time.
