The Adviser is once again on the search for the leading brokerages in the country, with submissions now open for the Top 25 Brokerages 2027.

Submissions are now open for the Top 25 Brokerages 2027, with brokerages across Australia invited to enter The Adviser’s annual ranking of the industry’s top performers.

Now in its 17th consecutive year, the ranking recognises leading brokerages based on key business metrics.

The Top 25 Brokerages 2027 will highlight businesses that performed strongly throughout the 2026 financial year (FY26), with brokerages assessed against a range of measures.

As the broking industry continues to evolve, the ranking provides an opportunity for brokerages to showcase their performance and highlight the businesses behind their growth.

How the ranking is determined

The ranking metrics are based on five key areas from FY26 ending 30 June 2026.

To be in the running, each brokerage must provide data for the size, settlement, and volume of loans written across the period.

The assessment metrics include:

  • Loan book size (by loan type)
  • Total value of loans settled
  • Number of loans settled
  • Years in business
  • Number of active brokers and loan writers

Being named among the top 25 can help brokerages build credibility with clients and lenders, while also supporting efforts to attract brokers and referral partners.

The ranking also gives brokerages an opportunity to highlight their business growth and performance, while raising their profile among other leading businesses in the industry.

Eligible brokerages are encouraged to submit an entry now.

Submissions close at 5:30pm AEDT on 23 October 2026 COB.

The final ranking will be published in the February 2027 edition of The Adviser magazine. You can read the ranking from 2026 here.
