How a desire to help others turned into a career

by Todd Stevens4 minute read

Madhu Chaudhuri is a broker and mentor whom many in the industry will know as a passionate advocate for the broker channel and a specialist in providing financial help for migrants. But she’s well known outside of the industry, too, as she goes above and beyond to not only make entrants to Australia more financially sound but also feel at home by providing community support.

In this episode of The Adviser’s Elite Broker podcast, Madhu joins Annie Kane and James Mitchell to share how she made the transition from architect to broker, and how she juggles her own business, community work and motherhood.

She will also share how her desire to help others led her to buy and run a childcare centre for those who were not financially stable, revealing why she became involved in a community organisation helping migrants with more than just finance.

You will also find out:

• How Madhu’s mentor helped her to decide to mentor others
• Why Madhu believes that the role of brokers has to change
• How she is utilising social media to educate like-minded brokers

And plenty more!
