RedZed adds 3 years to Storm sponsorship deal

RedZed has extended its major partnership agreement with Melbourne Storm for another three years beyond 2022, in a new multimillion-dollar deal.

The lender has been the Storm’s official major partner since the 2020 premiership season and will retain its front and centre position on the team’s purple jersey until the end of 2025.

The partnership arrangement is the largest made for both parties.

It was announced during a visit to RedZed’s head office in Melbourne, by Storm chief executive Justin Rodski, captain Jesse Bromwich and fellow NRL squad members Christian Welch, Felise Kaufusi, Ryan Papenhuyzen, Xavier Coates, Will Warbrick and Josh King.

RedZed managing director Ewan Dwyer commented he was thrilled to renew the sponsorship of the Melbourne Storm.

“The Storm’s performance – both on and off the field – is consistently excellent and that fits neatly with our culture and values,” Mr Dwyer said.

“The Storm is a great organisation with similar values to ours, who also represent diversity of people and professions that are self-employed.”

Mr Rodski, CEO of the Melbourne Stom, added the team sees the lender as a leader in its field.

“The incredible unseen generosity of RedZed has also solidified our partnership, including their contributions to the welfare of our staff during the Melbourne lockdowns and donating a generous amount of money to our charity partners,” he said.

“When they first joined us, they wouldn’t have expected to encounter some of the challenges we have faced, highlighted by our team being away from home for the large portion of the past two years. However, not only have they been great partners during the COVID period, but they’ve also increased their level of commitment to Storm through to the end of 2025.”

RedZed has also signed as the principal partner of the Hobart Hurricanes in the KFC Big Bash League.

The lender is in its 15th year of operating.
