The agenda for the Better Business Summit 2018 has been announced, with brokers set to hear from a host of speakers, including one of Australia’s most in-demand comedians.

The award-winning event, partnered by principal partner NAB, will be visiting Brisbane on 15 February, followed by Adelaide on 22 February, Melbourne on 1 March, Sydney on 8 March and Perth on 15 March.

Stand-up comedian Anh Do will kick off the proceedings with an inspirational personal story about how he turned adversity into opportunity.

Brokers will also learn how to supercharge their business practices from Jason Back, managing director of the award-winning Australian Lending and Investment Centre (ALIC).

Mr Back’s session will be followed by a panel discussion to provide brokers with an outlook for the year ahead and to offer tips around how they can increase their market share.

REA Group’s chief inventor, Nigel Dalton, will then discuss how innovations in technology are changing the way customers want to do business, and will offer brokers with tools that will enable them to adapt to this fast-changing environment.

Real estate guru and sales trainer Tom Panos is hosting a session where he will reveal trade secrets and explain how to build and develop a business by attracting and maintaining a client base.

In a practical, workshop-style session, the founder and owner of Banyan Co, Stuart Donaldson, will teach brokers how to gain an edge over their competitors in a cluttered marketplace.

Brokers eager to integrate the latest cutting-edge technologies into their business will have the opportunity to hear from major US innovation heavyweights.

The Better Business Summit 2018 will also provide brokers with great opportunities to network and mingle with industry colleagues during morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and drink breaks.

The Better Business Summit was launched in 2013 as a state-based event to provide brokers with straight-talking, practical advice to help them grow and improve their businesses.

It was the first state-based awards program to recognise and celebrate the best in the industry in their local markets.

The Better Business Summit has won multiple awards and has grown exponentially over the years to become the industry’s leading event, and now welcomes more than 4,500 attendees every year.
