Matt Cunliffe has confirmed his status as one of the industry’s brightest young stars by being named Queensland’s best broker.
Mr Cunliffe, general manager of Mortgage Choice Brisbane, was named Broker of the Year and Best Residential Broker at last night’s Queensland Better Business Awards.

His franchise also received the gong for Best Branded Office, while his colleague, Karli Martin, was crowned Best Newcomer.
Mr Cunliffe finished third in The Adviser’s 2013 Young Broker of the Year award after writing $82 million of loans in 2012/2013.
Fornaro Group Wealth Management was the other multiple winner at the gala awards dinner, which was held at the Brisbane Convention Centre.
The firm won the Editor’s Choice award, while Mina Pirrone was named Best Loan Administrator.
The other six awards were shared by Aussie Home Loans Bundaberg, Connective, Mortgage Choice Miami, My Address Finance, NAB Broker and SureDirect Loan Options. Click here for the full list of winners.
Queensland was the fourth leg of the Better Business Awards. Australian Lending & Investment Centre was the big winner in Victoria, Intelligent Finance was the standout in New South Wales and Mortgage Choice Glenelg East starred in South Australia.
