Asset finance fintech youX has appointed Pepper Money’s head of asset finance product as its new chief commercial officer.
Fintech company youX - which specialises in asset finance technology for lenders, brokers and dealers - has re-appointed Matt Perry into the role of chief commercial officer (CCO).
Perry, who was most recently the head of product at non-bank lender Pepper Money, has more than 25 years of experience in the finance industry in both the UK and Australia, having worked at Eric Insurance, St George, Angle Auto and most recently - as head of product at Pepper Asset Finance.
He had previously worked at youX in the CCO role before moving to Pepper.

The senior appointment aims to help the company scale its lender integrations, product commercialisation, and broker partnerships, among other responsibilities.
Simon Penhaligon, CEO of youX, commented: “Few, if any people have Matt’s mix of real-world, boots on the ground experience as well as a holistic, informed view of where auto finance is headed. We are pumped to have him back. Matt gives us executive depth and gives existing and prospective partners peace of mind.
"Matt’s a heavy hitter—his appointment is a signal that we’re serious about this category.”
Commenting on his new role, Perry said: “youX has always stood out to me as one of Australia’s most forward-thinking fintechs, with purpose, capability, and a genuine focus on empowering dealers, OEMs, lenders and brokers through technology.
"I’m excited to be part of the team and build on youX's existing success and importantly, help drive the next phase of sustainable growth.”
