One of Australia’s non-bank lenders has announced its plans for an executive team re-shuffle.
Yesterday, Australian First Mortgage (AFM) director Iain Forbes said the lender had decided to strengthen its focus on sales and allow joint managing director David White to take on the head of sales role.
Mr White, who is one of the founding directors, has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the credit area and is expected to bring much to his new role.
“In today’s world of lending, product and credit knowledge play an important part for every lending organisation as we have experienced changes to legislation, compliance and emphasis on responsible lending,” Mr Forbes said.
“AFM has five funders on its panel, and actively markets full doc, lo doc, land only and construction loans as well as SMSF lending and commercial property finance products.
“In his new role, David will be responsible for promoting our product range and developing strong relationships with our aggregator and broker partners,” Mr Forbes said.
