Consultation about possible changes to its commissions structure is currently underway between ANZ and broker groups, an ANZ spokeswoman has confirmed with Mortgage Business.
According to the spokeswoman the bank was in discussion with broker groups to ensure an informed future structure for its broker commissions.
The spokeswoman emphasised that the broker market remained an important part of ANZ’s mortgage business and that the bank looked forward to working closely with brokers to ensure a sustainable industry.
“So far we have gained valuable feedback from brokers and will not make a final decision until we have concluded discussions,” she said.
An announcement of that final decision should be made in coming weeks, the spokeswoman confirmed.
