Alternative lenders are on the shopping list for home buyers seeking a better deal, new research from RAMS has revealed.
According to RAMS chief executive Melos Sulicich, more than 60 per cent of home seekers would prefer an alternative lender such as a credit union or non-bank lender.

“Only 28 per cent of home owners told us that the major banks generally offer the best mortgage deals. By comparison, 44 per cent felt that the various alternative lenders provide a better deal,” Mr Sulicich said.
