Heritage beats big banks in satisfaction

Heritage bank has beaten its bigger rivals to take home the coveted Canstar Blue 2012 Challenger Bank Award for satisfied customers.

The lender received a five star rating for overall satisfaction, branch service, call centre service, internet banking, products and services, problem solving and friendliness.

Heritage’s chief executive John Minz said the lender was humbled by the win.

“As Australia’s largest customer-owned bank, our whole focus is on providing the best banking experience possible for our customers,” he said.

“Since we changed our name to Heritage Bank in December last year, we’ve started setting new standards for customer satisfaction ratings among Australian banks.

The Canstar Blue award follows Heritage’s outstanding performance in Roy Morgan Research’s Consumer Banking Surveys, with a 97.1per cent customer satisfaction rating, the highest in its 15 year history.
