The Adviser was identified as one of Australia’s leading industry magazines at the Publishers Australia Excellence Awards in Sydney on Friday.
The mortgage industry’s leading title was a finalist in two categories, securing the runner up position in both the B2B Magazine of the Year and Integrated Media Brand of the Year categories.
The outstanding performance of The Adviser also helped to secure Sterling Publishing the prestigious accolade of Small Publisher of the Year.
More than 500 professionals from across the publishing industry gathered for the 15th annual awards gala dinner, hosted at Doltone House.
This prestigious event attracted over 300 entries and some of the biggest brands in publishing. Other award winners included titles such as GQ magazine, marie claire, Vogue, madison, Wheels and FourFourTwo.
Publisher of The Adviser Jim Hall said that being recognised as runner up in two of the most hotly contested categories bears testament to the dedication of The Adviser team over the last four years.
”We have an outstanding team across the board and there are few journalists in the business that compare with our editor Jessica Darnbrough.
“The Adviser is still a relatively young title and I believe that it is our fresh approach to publishing that has been so successful. Our primary focus is our readers and this has been at the heart of everything we have done since day one,” Mr Hall said.
