CBA’s third party and mobile banking channel has raised $130,000 for the Breast Cancer Institute of Australia.

The "Busting Out for a Cure" charity events were held in all state capitals throughout November and featured both live and silent auctions and raffle draws, while guests were encouraged to dig-deep and donate generously towards funding for clinical research trials into a cure for breast cancer.

Speaking about the bank’s charity success, CBA’s executive general manager third party and mobile banking Kathy Cummings said she was overwhelmed by the generosity of the event attendees.

“The Group has partnered with the Breast Cancer Institute of Australia and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. We are passionate about raising awareness and funds for health issues that affect women and men,” Ms Cummings said.
