The principal of a Smartline brokerage based in South Australia has joined the non-major’s mobile direction team.
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank has officially announced the appointment of Kapil Virmani as area manager for South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Mr Virmani will lead the team of mobile relationship managers across the two states.
The new appointee joins the bank from REA Group subsidiary Smartline Mortgage Advisers, where he served as a principal of an Adelaide-based franchise for five years.
Before joining Smartline in October 2014, Mr Virmani held several roles at Westpac, which included a stint as acting regional general manager.
Mr Virmani also worked for over two years at BT Financial Group, where he served as state manager for South Australia, the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
“[Mr Virmani] has a deep passion for developing and growing teams and aligning organisations to provide the very best in customer experience,” Bendigo and Adelaide Bank said in a statement.
