Lender enhances marketing kit for brokers

A non-bank lender has enhanced its marketing toolkit for brokers to help promote their services on social media.

Pepper Money has announced the addition of new tools to its Alternative Lending Marketing Toolkit to help brokers succeed with marketing their services on social media.

Pepper’s latest module, A Real-life Guide to Social Media, is aimed at helping brokers to get more active on social and grow their alternative lending business at the same time.

Commenting on the launch, Pepper Money’s chief marketing officer, Jo Thrift, said: “Social media is now an essential part of a broker’s marketing mix with 79 per cent of the population on social media. But for small to medium business owners such as mortgage brokers, developing a social media presence and finding the content to post regularly doesn’t need to be daunting.”

The new tools include:

  • a simple beginner’s guide for those that want to get up and running
  • a suite of free, ready-to-go content for Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram for those already up and running
  • tips on how to optimise a businesses’ social profiles to make sure they get the best out of their social presence
  • an introduction to how to go about automating social media posts

The introduction of the module follows the introduction of Pepper’s first module, A Real-life Guide to Referral Marketing, which saw over 1,000 brokers download 3,500 tools since July 2018.

These new guides and tools are available to all Pepper-accredited brokers via the Pepper Money Broker Portal.
