ING Direct has extended a special offer that offers double the referral incentive to brokers.

The bank has announced that its Living Super referral fee will remain at $550 until 31 August .

Living Super aims to offer brokers the opportunity to source additional revenue and deepen relationships with their clients.

ING Direct’s head of third-party distribution, Mark Woolnough, said consumers are increasingly looking for trusted advisers to provide them with a one-stop shop service.

“Referral programs are a simple way for brokers to start diversifying their revenue,” he said.

“Since introducing Living Super to our referral program in March we have had great feedback about the ease of the process, which is a simple one-page referral form.”

ING Direct’s Living Super referral fee was introduced in March, with the increased fee originally due to run until 30 June.

The standard referral fee is $275.
