Broking industry to be highlighted on property portal

by Reporter7 minute read

The MFAA will represent the broking industry by contributing a regular fortnightly column on domain.com.au.

MFAA chief executive Siobhan Hayden was approached by the Fairfax-owned real estate site after the association recently released a mortgage broking report.

“The Domain team were seeking a spokesperson who could share industry information that may assist consumers,” Ms Hayden said.

“After reviewing some of the interesting statistics about broker market share and consumer perceptions of the industry in our recent report, they contacted us directly with this opportunity.”

The regular MFAA column will commence in the first week of July and will cover everything from hints on getting the best loan, to relevant statistics and feature interviews with well-recognised industry leaders.

“More than 75 per cent of our members want us to be directly communicating with consumers about broker benefits,” Ms Hayden said.

“This opportunity allows us to do just that, encouraging the general public to trial our find a member search portal and generating ongoing interest.”
