The Bank of Queensland (BoQ) withdrew its $53.2 million takeover bid for Mackay Permanent Building Society (MPBS) yesterday.
This follows BoQ’s statement on Monday that it did not intend to increase its offer for MPBS after Wide Bay launched a counter bid last week.
