Lance Blockley will head the new group, taking on the role of managing director.

Mr Blockley previously held the position of managing director at Edgar Dunn & Company, a global finance and payments consultancy.

RFi Group managing director Charles Green said he is delighted to be expanding the RFi Group to offer an unparalleled service within the business intelligence and consulting market.

“The launch of RFi Consulting is the natural progression of our value proposition. With the launch of this business, we now offer an end-to-end service. Not only do we provide consumer data, market intelligence and actionable insights, but we can now take it that step further by providing overall strategic analysis, execution and management,” he said.

“I am thrilled to be welcoming a thought leader of Lance’s calibre into the group. He pioneered the use of transaction data to underpin marketing strategy development and market segmentation, well before the current crop of technology-driven solutions,” said Mr Green.
