AMP hikes rates for third time in one month

AMP Banking announced yesterday that it would lift the interest rate on its standard variable home loans by ten basis points to 9.47 per cent.

This is the fourth lift in rates for AMP this year, and the third in just one month.

Since February AMP’s standard variable rate has increased by a total of 78 basis points.
