Lendi team expands ahead of target

Promoted by Lendi

Just over two months ago, Lendi set out on a recruitment campaign to bring on 50 new brokers by the end of the year but the response from candidates has been stronger than anticipated.

Having the right technology, support and a steady stream of new customers has never been more important. These are just some of the reasons why the Lendi proposition is resonating with brokers looking for a change.

“In August alone, we onboarded more than 30 new brokers through our self-employed and employee model,” said Sebastian Watkins, Chief Operating Officer at Lendi. “We’re ahead of our targets which is fantastic because customer demand is showing no signs of slowing down.”

The Lendi model is designed to quickly adapt to changes in demand and scale accordingly, explains Watkins.

“With increasing demand, our brokers can focus on building their book and meeting with more customers because our platform and centralised team take care of back office functions from sales, marketing, customer qualification through to settlement support,” he said.

“We make a significant investment in our broker partners so our recruitment process has to be stringent,” said Watkins. “It’s really important it’s the right fit for everyone involved. That way, our new home loan consultants can hit the ground running on day one.”

With home loan settlements of over $12 billion, the Lendi team has helped thousands of Australians secure their property dreams and despite the broader economic challenges of 2020, they’re still growing.

“Lendi was born digital and that made the transition to remote working relatively smooth for our team, customers and partners,” adds Watkins. “These days, the whole Lendi team has the option to work from home. Flexibility and supporting our people is the key priority. We want to empower everyone on the team to maximise productivity in a way that suits them and their lifestyle.”
