Auction clearance rates jumped to 71 per cent in Sydney over the weekend, according to Australian Property Monitors.
This compared to Brisbane’s 17 per cent, where only two properties up for auction reached sale.
Nationally, of 206 auctions 129 properties were sold – a clearance rate of 61 per cent. Total sales equated to $51,198,556 with an average price of $410,000.
