In a bid to become the nation’s most highly trained brokerage, Aussie is forcing all of its new recruits to undergo an intensive three week induction program before meeting their first customer.

The program is externally accredited as a Diploma of Financial Services.

In addition, new recruits are asked to complete a structured six to eight week program that provides ongoing support through intensive skill development and one on one coaching with a sales manager.

But it is not just Aussie’s newest recruits that are being forced to undergo extensive training.

Aussie’s existing mortgage broking team are participating in training programs to upgrade their qualification from a Certificate IV Financial Services (Mortgage Broking) to the Diploma and every broker in the Aussie network will have this qualification by 1 July 2012.

Aussie executive director sales and distribution James Symond said Aussie was committed to being the best in the business.

“Aussie always aims to lead the industry and this is another example where we are ensuring customers are delivered the best and most professional broking service available,” he said.
