The non-bank lender has unveiled a digital addition to its broker service, extending existing technology.
Non-bank lender Prime Capital has launched a broker portal offering real-time application tracking, document uploads, and access to lending resources.
The lender specialises in business loans secured against residential or commercial property.
The launch expands its digital services beyond its existing online application platform, Prime Approve.
Prime Approve launched in June 2024 as an online loan approval service, with the lender noting that the new portal is built on that investment.
“Available on desktop and mobile, it gives brokers access to the latest application updates whether they are in the office, at home or on the move,” the lender said.
Alongside application tracking and supporting document uploads, users can access product guides and calculators.
“They can also submit new deals through Prime Approve and follow their progress from submission through to settlement,” the lender said.
Brokers sign in with their email address, and a secure one-time code will be delivered to their inbox, removing the need for a password.
Prime Capital CEO Steve Sampson said the development reflected an ongoing focus on simplifying brokers’ dealings with the lender.
“We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for brokers to do business with Prime Capital,” Sampson said.
“The Broker Portal gives brokers a clear view of their applications, along with the resources and support they need to keep deals moving, wherever they are working.”
Sampson stressed that the additional digital channel was intended to strengthen the lender’s broker service, rather than substitute technology for personal assistance.
“Technology should make the process simpler, but strong broker relationships remain central to our business,” he said.
“Our BDMs remain available to workshop deals and provide support. The portal gives brokers another way to access information and take action when it suits them.”
