Two brokerages are joining forces, with leadership changes setting the stage for expansion.
Mortgage brokerages Fouracre Financial and Source Financial have announced a seven-figure merger, combining their property-investor specialisations as Source Financial prepares to integrate into Fouracre Financial.
The deal aims to broaden the combined business’s broking capabilities and increase capacity across its investment lending operations.
The brokerages said approximately 90 per cent of deals within their shared niche involved property investment.
Fouracre Financial founder Jack Fouracre will become CEO, while Source Financial director Corey Goldby will assume the newly created position of head of broker division.
Leadership for the next phase
The appointments are intended to establish the leadership structure required for longer-term growth, with Fouracre outlining a remit extending beyond day-to-day lending to organisational development.
“As CEO, my focus will be on the bigger picture: scaling the business sustainably, strengthening our operations and leadership, and building an organisation that can support significantly more clients and brokers in the years ahead,” Fouracre said.
Fouracre added that Goldby’s arrival would allow the pair to concentrate on their respective strengths while giving the business additional capacity to pursue its expansion plans.
“Corey and I bring highly complementary strengths, and bringing him into the leadership team allows us both to focus on where we can create the greatest impact. We have ambitious plans for Fouracre Financial, and this merger gives us the leadership, experience and scale to accelerate that next phase,” Fouracre said.
The announcement follows another expansion move by Fouracre Financial, which acquired Dash Lending in partnership with InvestorKit after Dashdot entered liquidation.
Shared focus on investor lending
Goldby identified the businesses’ overlapping client profiles and property-investment expertise as central reasons for bringing their operations together.
“There was a natural fit between Source Financial and Fouracre Financial, particularly in the clients we work with and our shared specialisation in property investment,” Goldby said.
“Investor finance is rarely about securing a single loan. Every lending decision needs to consider where a client wants to be two, three or five properties from now. Combining our experience, systems and people gives us an opportunity to build an even stronger broking division while maintaining that specialist investor focus.”
The businesses positioned the merger as another step in the expansion of InvestorKit Group, whose offering spans property investment advice, lending, and wealth protection.
InvestorKit provides property investment advisory services, Fouracre Financial handles mortgage broking and finance, and Solace Life provides life insurance and wealth protection. The group aims to support clients through successive stages of building wealth.
Fouracre Financial also credited aggregator Specialist Finance Group (SFG) with supporting the transaction and helping bring the merger together.
