Australia’s top-performing broking professionals have been crowned winners at this year’s Australian Broking Awards.
Mortgage and finance professionals gathered at a cocktail luncheon on Friday (29 August) for the Australian Broking Awards 2025 – run in partnership with principal partner NAB – to celebrate the best of the best of the mortgage and finance broking industry.
The 15th annual awards program acknowledged the leading brokers, brokerages, and aggregation groups providing excellent service to Australian borrowers.
Around 700 members of the broking and lending industry were in attendance at the glittering awards ceremony in Sydney to celebrate the achievements of their colleagues and network with senior leaders of the third-party channel, including elite brokers and CEOs of the associations, lenders, and aggregators.
During the ceremony, attendees were treated to an afternoon of laughter and entertainment by Australian comedian and emcee, Tom Ballard.
This year, a total of 29 broking professionals and businesses were chosen as winners from the pool of 250 finalists. Residential brokers, asset finance brokers, commercial brokers, loan administrators, mentors, and industry thought leaders were among the individual winners.
There were 28 categories on offer, including 12 individual and 16 group categories. The highest-scoring broker winner was also named the Broker of the Year for 2025.
This year, Azura Financial’s Tom Hawley was awarded the prestigious Broker of the Year award. Earlier in the evening, Hawley had been crowned the Residential Broker of the Year for his work in delivering exceptional service and education to home buyers throughout the year.
