IMBF hosts first international broker conference
EIGHTY-SIX MEMBERS of the broking industry from Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada, and the US joined together at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas between 7–10 September for the inaugural World Summit of the International Mortgage Brokers Federation (IMBF).

The IMBF was formed to share ideas, refer clients, gather market intelligence, identify trends, and stay up to date on regulatory matters and industry best practices.
Peter White, chairman of the IMBF Global Board of Governors and several members of the Australian broking industry – including Finsure CEO Simon Bednar – travelled to Las Vegas to discuss how Australia’s mortgage market is faring and workshop the issues and challenges facing brokers in the different member countries.
The conference aimed to highlight solutions that can advance the global mortgage broking community into the future.
Mortgage Choice hosts national conference
MORTGAGE CHOICE brokers were left buzzing after the Mortgage Choice National Conference in Cairns at the end of August.
Over the course of three jam-packed days attendees heard from world-renowned speakers including Dr Chadden Hunter, the acclaimed documentary filmmaker for Sir David Attenborough; SAS Australia’s front man and best-selling author, Ant Middleton; and Olympic gold medallist, Ariarne Titmus OAM, and her coach, Dean Boxall.
The evening functions saw Mortgage Choice brokers and team members boasting some of the best fancy-dress costumes we’ve ever seen, with the week wrapping up with a spectacular gala dinner, where the brokerage recognised and celebrated its network’s incredible achievements.
