Now in its seventh consecutive year, the state-based awards program provides a unique opportunity to celebrate the top-performing individuals and offices in the broking industry in NSW, Victoria/Tasmania, South Australia/Northern Territory, Western Australia and Queensland.

From brokers with the best customer service, to those running the most effective businesses, as well as the loan administrators, lenders and aggregator business development managers that are best servicing brokers’ evolving needs, the Better Business Awards program showcases and champions the hard work of the third-party channel.

The full finalist list for the 2020 awards has now been released, featuring 563 high-achieving mortgage professionals across 19 submission-based categories.

There has been a particularly strong turnout for those operating in Victoria and Tasmania this year, with 138 finalists in the running for a Better Business Award for Vic/Tas – and several familiar names in the running for an awards as many previous winners and finalists once again make the final cut.

Speaking of the awards, The Adviser’s editor, Annie Kane, commented: “The Adviser’s Better Business Awards provides a platform to elevate and recognise those helping make the dream of home ownership come true for thousands of Australians each year, as well as those supporting Australian businesses find the finance they need to grow and prosper.

“Through their dedication to exceptional customer service, adoption of innovative processes and adaptation to a fast-moving lending environment, this exciting cohort are testament to why more than half of borrowers in Australia turn to a broker for help with securing finance.

“On behalf of The Adviser, I would like to congratulate all the finalists of the Better Business Awards 2020 and look forward to following their ongoing success as they continue to deliver outstanding service to borrowers in Australia.”

The winners of the awards will be announced at the state-based dinners between 13 February and 12 March in the following venues:
