Southern Cross Broker Network (SC) has announced the appointment of Wayne Keating as its new regional manager for New South Wales and Queensland.
Mr Keating brings to the role over 15 years’ experience in the mortgage sector, and 35 years in the broader finance industry.
He will be responsible for recruiting new members and developing the SC portfolio across both states, as well as relationship managing existing SC members in the region.
“I am genuinely excited to join an industry leader in providing an aggregation service proposition for professional mortgage brokers around Australia,” Mr Keating said.
“My detailed understanding of the broker channel has enabled me to ascertain that Southern Cross is without peer when understanding and providing for the needs of the successful mortgage broker and their business.”
Mr Keating said he hopes to assist members in business growth, focusing on identifying and recruiting new talent, and developing new income streams.
His other responsibilities will include further strengthening existing lender relationships, as well as providing compliance services and professional development days for SC members.
